| (in English) | We have derived kernel functions that minimize the asymptotic mean squared error of the mode estimate, which is defined as the local maximizer of the density estimation result obtained by the kernel density estimation. In the numerical experiments, the optimal kernel provides the smallest mean squared error. | |
