Stepwise detection of image differences using screen elements in UI Layout Testing

(in English) Methods for efficiently performing regression testing of software development have been proposed.
It is a method of image comparison aiming at automatically detecting bugs included in the application screen.
As a method of detecting a collapsed part of the application screen, there is a method of automatically detecting a deviation of the position of parts constituting the application screen such as a button.
By using this method, it is possible to easily identify the location where UI layout error occurred.
There are various kinds of UI layout error.
For example, things in a large range such as background color errors and small range like button size error.
The existing method has a problem that a plurality of errors are detected for one UI layout error.
Therefore, we propose a method to detect UI layout error step by step according to size of errors.
We confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method on the application screen including the UI layout error across multiple screen elements.
