Behavioral Verification of Yampa Programs in a Discrete Runtime Environment using Uppaal

(in English) This study proposes a verification of Yampa program behavior in the discrete runtime environment using Uppaal. Although a Yampa program is designed with continuous behavior, the actual executions are with the discrete runtime environment. This gap sometimes results in an unexpected behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to verify whether the system works properly in discrete runtime environment. we present a translation from Yampa programs to Uppaal description. It is shown that an erroneous behavior is detected by the Uppaal model checker in the bouncing-ball example.
