Influence of cell culture vessel on sound field -- Influence of vessel size on sound field --

(in English) We would like to irradiate to brain tumor cells which are adherent cells, ultrasound by control of the acoustic intensity in a cell culture vessel. However, in our laboratory, problems such as the environment of the culture vessel, the size of the container, etc. are making it difficult to control the sound intensity. In this paper, we investigated the influence of the dimensions of the cell culture vessel on the sound field by the three-dimensional sound field simulation using the finite element method. In this study, we studied about the sound fields in two kinds of containers with bottom thickness of container of 1.5 mm and 20 μm. We also examined the influence on the sound field when the wall thickness of the container was changed from 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm.
