In 5G, micro operator and local 5G concepts that arrange small cells with high flexibility and scalability attract attention. In the micro operator concept, multiple small cells are communicated in the same frequency band. In this case, it is necessary to arrange the small cells as densely as possible and to utilize the most of spatial non interfered spectrum. However, as the density of small cells increases, the degradation of communication quality due to inter-cell interference becomes increasing. On the other hand, as a highly radio environment estimation method, Measurement-based Spectrum Database (MSD) attracts attention. In the MSD, radio environment information is gathered by huge number of terminals and the gathered datasets are statistically processed in each mesh. In this paper, we propose a method to increase the density of small cells while satisfying communication quality in multiple small cell environments considering the MSD. The proposed method estimates the probability distribution of Signal-to-Interference plus Noise power Ratio (SINR) in each small cell and accumulates in the MSD. Based on the estimated probability distribution, interference power control that satisfies the desired outage probability is performed and maximize the number of small cells that can share the frequencies. |
