For diagnosis of tubular tissues such as digestive system, it is important to measure tube diameter. We have developed a system which automatically calculates tube diameter by image processing using the computer and can map the pseudo color according to tube length. However, since this system comprehensively searches for pixels on the tubular tissue, it takes a long time to analyze. Therefore, we propose a dynamic tube search and visualization method based on moving average using tube center coordinates. In this method, more efficient search processing is realized by omitting search processing for pixels already searched and having the same tube diameter value. As a result of implementing this method in the system, we confirmed that the analysis time is reduced by about 80%. |
