Acceleration of angiographic region enhancement based on robust principal component analysis using parallel processing

(in English) Robust principal component analysis (RPCA) can extract vessel information from consecutive digital angiographic images. However, standard RPCA also provided artifacts around vessel regions whose contrast was low. Although RPCA was improved by additional restriction terms, processing time increased. In this study, we accelerated the improved PRCA for clinical application. The accelerated PRCA could generate vessel extraction image within about 10 seconds whereas conventional environment required more than 3 hours. The difference between generated images by both environments was evaluated and we confirmed that no significant difference was observed.
