Traffic load characteristics analysis of equality based flow admission control by using virtual machines

(in English) A new admission control scheme that maximizes the satisfaction level (minimizes the total call loss probability) which all accommodated users can be obtained has been proposed. This system assumed that types of requested bandwidth are two and derived the optical control parameter by using queueing theory. To find the optical control parameter (threshold), we need to use traffic intensity.
On the other hand, in real networks, traffic intensity may change over time due to packet loss, jitter, delay, etc. Therefore,
the traffic intensity in real network differs from one of theoretical situation.
However, this theoretical admission control method have not considered traffic intensity in real network.
In this paper, we build a small network and measure the traffic intensity in real network. Moreover, we evaluate the traffic intensity in real network, and show the difference between traffic intensity in real network and theoretical one. Finally, we show the effectiveness of our method by using revised threshold.
