It is required to design base stations with smaller cells after this because the high frequency band expected to be used in 5G is strongly affected by shields such as buildings. However, it may be difficult to install base stations due to problems such as landscape. A street light type base station is one of the schemes to solve the above problem and it is possible to install a base station that takes scenery into consideration. In this field trial, knowledge of construction and operation was acquired and are coverage was evaluated by installing the base station which is built in LED type street light. |
