Proposal of Analysis Accuracy Improvement Method by Logistic Regression in Single Nucleotide Polymorphism Analysis Using Next-Generation Sequencer
Ginji Azuma (Kindai Univ.), Atsushi Takahashi (NCVC), Naoki Ohboshi (Kindai Univ.) NC2018-37
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Single nucleotide polymorphisms are known to be related to phenotypes, and analysis is actively performed. However, the analysis result contains many erroneously detected mutation information. In this study, simulated genomic data was made as known results. Single nucleotide polymorphism analysis was performed for simulated data, and analysis results were learned by simulated data as supervised learning data by logistic regression. It is suggested that accuracy can be improved with filtering the mutation information by the obtained logistic regression model.
