Identification of grasping and extending motion with input of surface EMG signal of hand intrinsic muscles

(in English) The hand and finger motions are achieved by the cooperative action of the forearm which includes extrinsic muscles, and the fingers which include intrinsic muscles. Precise discrimination is possible by using surface electromyography(sEMG) of the intrinsic muscle in delicate finger motion analysis.
In this article, we used a wearable glove type device based on myoelectric information on the back of hands and measured the myoelectricity of the five subjects to grasp and extend motion, and compared the results of intra-subjects and inter-subjects. As a result, the accuracy of the classifier using the convolutional neural network was the highest, and the discrimination accuracy of 95.79 % in case of the intra-subjects and 93.51 % in case of the inter-subjects was recorded.
