| (in English) | In recent years, stress problems due to various factors have been reported. There are reports that psychosis such as depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) tends to develop when receiving excessive stress. Meditation has received attention from a medical point of view as a way to relieve stress. In this study, the influence of meditation on the body was evaluated from 14 points of meditation experience and nine non meditation students from the viewpoint both of cerebral blood flow change and autonomic nerve activity. The experimental attitude was sitting posture, and experiments were conducted under both light and dark room conditions. From the viewpoint of cerebral blood flow change, there appeared a difference in the frontal lobe between the meditation experiences and the non meditation experiences during the dark room. From the viewpoint of autonomic nervous activity, there was a difference between LF components in the darkroom between experienced meditators and those without meditation. From these findings, it was suggested that meditation could greatly affect the body especially in the light room. | |
