Throughput improvement of p-persistent CSMA/CA by modified method of estimation for the number of contenders

(in English) Probability p of p-persistent CSMA/CA to maximize the throughput can be calculated from the packet length and the number of contenders. Since it is difficult to grasp the actual number of contenders, an estimation method, such as by using an attenuation function, is reguired. In this research, by modifying the attenuation function, p-persistent CSMA/CA achieves throughput improvement.
