The recent, Large Geometric Margin Minimum Classification Error training has, based on the smoothness of its smooth classification error loss, the effect of generating virtual training samples. This effect is expected to increase the quality of the minimum classification error (maximum correct classification) probability estimation. In the paper, we elaborate on and prove this effect from a systematic experiment using two datasets. |
