Arrangement of control points by genetic algorithm for multiple sound zone generation using multi-point control method

(in English) We consider that the reproduction area and the suppression area are formed at the same time by using multi-point control method (MPCM) in multiple-sound zone generation. The arrangement of the reproduction point and the suppression point is an important factor determining the sound pressure level between the two areas. However, it is a placement decision based on a heuristic method, and it has not been studied. In addition, using the weighted least squares method of MPCM, performance improvement can be expected, but it is difficult to estimate the weighting coefficient set for each control point. In this study, we discuss appropriate arrangement of control points and weighting coefficients determination by defining a control point and a weighting coefficient as {it chromosomes} of genetic algorithm. As a result of experiments, we confirmed that the arrangement of control points and the weighting coefficients determined by genetic algorithm, and sound pressure level decrease compared with the conventional arrangement in the suppression area.
