| (in English) | This paper presents the design of a perpendicular-corporate feed in a four-layer parallel-plate 45-degree polarization slot array antenna. We place dielectric with adequate permittivity in the region between the coupling-aperture layer and the radiating-slot layer to excite standing waves strongly there. This structure offers uniform excitation in the 2×2-element subarray. The proposed antenna has a four-layer structure composed of the coupling aperture layer including a feeding circuit, the radiating-slot layer with dielectric, a parasitic-slot layer and an additional-slot layer. Only additional slots have 45-degree inclination with respect to a principal axis to create desired polarization. Each layer has no electrical contact due to an air gap between layers. We have achieved 12.9 % bandwidth for VSWR ≤ 1.5, 12.7 % 1-dB-down bandwidth of realized gain and 78 % antenna efficiency in the 60 GHz band. | |
