(in English) Narrowband power line communication (NB-PLC) is a prospective candidate of the communication scheme to realize a system that collects environmental and energy information etc. in a large-scale building.
For realization of such a system, it is important to clarify the multiple access performance of a NB-PLC system, in which multiple transmitters periodically transmit data to a data collecting receiver.
For this reason, this manuscript reports the results of a communication quality measurement campaign of multiple access performance using G3-PLC modems in a live large-scale building.
A result of the measurement of 1-to-1 communication performance shows wide variation of performance depending on outlets used for communication.
And then it is found that this variation of communication performance may cause performance degradation by the hidden terminal problem in N-to-1 multiple access using CSMA/CA scheme in G3-PLC standard.
