[Invited Lecture] Experimental Evaluation of Non-linear Signal Processing Method for Inter User Terminal Interference Elimination in Multiuser Full-Duplex MIMO Communication

(in English) In order to improve the capacity of the wireless communication system, we have proposed the multi-user full-duplex multiple-input multiple-output~(MU-FD MIMO) system. The MU-FD MIMO system can be expected to ideally double the spectrum efficiency as compared with the conventional half-duplex~(HD). However, self-interference inside station and inter-terminal interference deteriorate communication quality. We propose inter-terminal interference suppression method using non-linear processing technique. In the proposed method, the downlink terminal shares the interference signal propagating the dominant eigenpath, and performs digital subtraction. This report evaluates the bit error rate~(BER) performance and achievable transmission rate of the proposed method using the actual environment channel, which is actually measured in an outdoor environment. The presented results show that the achievable transmission rate can be improved by 58 $%$ with the proposed method.
