In the wireless power transmission system, when the position of the receiver coil is hanged with respect to the transmitter coil, the transmission efficiency is remarkably reduced. Therefore, in this paper, we aim to transmit power efficiently in arbitrary places, and we are studying power transmission in all directions using 3D coils on the power transmission side. To estimate the influence of the resonance coil, we study the optimum location and shape of the resonant coil. In evaluating the transmission efficiency, a theoretical maximum efficiency by a two-port theory is obtained by performing a simulation by the finite element method. |
