A novel optical fiber ring laser have been fabricated by using a cascaded long-period fiber grating (C-CLPG) as a wavelength selection element and an erbium-doped optical fiber amplifier (EDFA) as a gain medium, and its temperature dependence in its oscillation wavelength have been investigated from the view point of the sensor use. In the experiment, it is confirmed that oscillation wavelength is obtained in accordance with the spectral peak of channeled spectrum. |
