Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Optical eigenvalue modulation is not affected by the nonlinear effect which is depending on the signal intensity. Input pulse which contains arbitrary multi-eigenvalues can be designed based on the inverse scattering transform in the optical eigenvalue modulation. In this report, we propose how to generate hyper multi-level modulated signal by the combination of arbitrary multi-eigenvalues, and experimentally show the feasibility of 100km transmission.
