Position Estimation Method for Various Sound Source in Indoor Environment and its Basic Evaluation

(in English) The authors have been studying an indoor positioning system using a diffused sound source for realization of highly accurate position detection. By extending the diffused sound to a general sound source, and estimating the position from the operation sound of household appliances and warning devices, the sound source can be identified and various applications can be expected. This paper proposes a highly accurate positioning method using the CSP method from the sound source generated inside the room other than the diffused sound source for positioning. Detection results of the reception time difference at each reception point, the results of evaluation experiments on positioning accuracy are described using time difference results, and the possibility of highly accurate positioning is shown by various sound sources.
