(in English) Owing to a 2 GHz wide and free license band, the 60 GHz millimeter wave (mm-Wave) band is one of the most promising bands for the next generation mobile communication. However, the high level phase noise of the local oscillator in mm-Wave transceivers incurs the inter-carrier interference (ICI) and deteriorates transmission performance of OFDM. To cope with such a problem, this report proposes a scheme that can simultaneously compensate for the common phase error (CPE) of all the subcarriers and ICI from neighboring subcarriers, by linearly combining received signals that are equalized in the frequency domain. We apply the proposed scheme to the mm-Wave multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems. Since the accuracy of the channel estimation is deteriorated by the phase noise, this report investigates channel estimation schemes that can be robust against the phase noise. Four comb-type preambles are used in the channel estimation, and estimation results are averaged to reduce the effects of ICI. As the preambles, 2 types of pilot arrangements, continue and scattered pilots, are compared, which shows that the scattered pilots outperform the continue pilots. The packet error rate (PER) performance of the proposed scheme with channel estimation is also evaluated.
