In-band full duplex, which is a new communication system attracting attention for 5G and beyond, can transmit and receive information simultaneously at same frequency band.
However, self-interference cancellation is essential for realizing in-band full duplex.
In this report, we describe evaluations of digital adaptive filters for self-interference cancellation implemented on a software-defined radio.
It is studied to apply digital adaptive filters to both the analog stage and the digital stage to realize self-interference elimination.
The authors implement these filters on the Universal Software Radio Peripherals (USRPs).
We clarify that the developed system achieves self-interference cancellation of about 30 dB.
Also, we consider the influence of the phase noises of local oscillators on the system. |
