[Poster Presentation] Three dimensional imaging of biological tissues using multimode fiber for optical communications

(in English) The graded-index short multimode fiber (GI SMMF) for optical communications has been investigated for the application to optical imaging for the reasons of compact size, forward imaging, reliability and low cost. In this paper, we demonstrate full field optical coherence microscopy with SMMF of diameter 125μm and length of 7.4mm to show three-dimensional (3D) image of chicken tendon of collagen fibers with a diameter of 1 to 2 μm, 3D image of chicken fat tissue of adipocytes with a diameter of 50 to 60 μm, and morphological changes of tissue by probe insertions.
