Improvement of Efficiency in High Frequency Using Soft Switching MVAC Converter

(in English) In recent years, the power conversion circuit has been used in a wide range of applications, and further miniaturization and high efficiency of the circuit are demanded.A method for downsizing the switching power supply is to increase the switching frequency However, since the switching loss increases in proportion to the frequency, it causes a decrease in the power conversion efficiency. Therefore, for the purpose of preventing increase of the switching loss while increasing the frequency, the soft switching DC - In this research, we developed a simple boosting circuit that performs hard switching and a Minimum-Voltage Active-Voltage control circuit that performs soft switching using a DC-DC converter, Minimum-Voltage Active-Clamping DC-DC Converter. Perform comparison of the efficiency of the clamping DC-DC converter in the actual machine at 100 kHz to 300 kHz, and the efficiency improvement effect by the soft switching effect Experiments were also conducted on the effect of reducing the turn-off loss when adding a snubber capacitor between the drain and the source for the purpose of further increasing the efficiency of the MVAC circuit.
