Relationship Between Transfer Power and Transfer Efficiency on Capacitive WPT Under Fresh Water

(in English) This report discribes the relationship between the transfer power and the transfer efficiency on capacitive WPT under fresh water. The complex permittivity of the support substrate in the capacitive coupler is potentially changed under a high RF electric field. There is concern that it will lead the deterioration of the transfer efficiency in the capacitive WPT under water. Therefore, we revealed the characteristics of the complex permittivity in the substrate under high RF electric field. As a result, the permittivity up to the RF electric field of 207 kVpeak/m was not changed. In the power transmission experiment, the transfer efficiency of 90 % at the power range from 1mW to 400 W was achieved by our designed coupler.
