(in English) Method of Calculation of Priority in Nodule Detection CAD Algorithm for CT Lung Cancer ScreeningWe developed a priority calculation technique to present nodule candidate suspected of true positive with priority over misdetection candidate for the purpose of high accuracy of lung cancer nodule detection CAD (Computer Aided Detection). In this work, we proposed the method combined (a) circularity, (b) irregularity, and (c) shape index from the ROI of the nodule candidate. In the evaluation experiment using clinical 3D-CT data, it was confirmed that case probability that one or more true positives are detected within 6th place is 80% or more.
