Creating of polarizers for 2.45 GHz and electric field heating by the circular polarized wave

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A pair of polarizer with an elliptical defected single ridge was prepared. In order to better separate the circularly polarized wave of 2.45 GHz, the ridge structure was searched by electromagnetic field simulation. Circularly polarized waves were synthesized by the produced polarizer, and 4-fold rotational symmetry in a rectangular waveguide was confirmed. We have studied heating by circularly polarized electric field irradiation using these polarizers.
