Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Resonator design for wireless power transfer depends on engineers' intuition, experience and trial and error design process.
This is because there is no method to quantitatively evaluate the influence of operating environments such as materials around the resonator and paired resonator shape.
Conventional highly-efficient resonator structures are designed under ideal conditions or optimized under specific conditions, which means that the resonator structures are not versatile.
To overcome this problem, we are developing a resonator design method that quantitatively evaluates the influence of operating environments.
In the resonator design method, we calculate highly-efficient current distribution in a 2-D plane or 3-D space, and resonators are designed by modeling to follow the current distribution.
In this paper, we introduce mesh conductors in the resonator's installation space and calculate the optimal mesh current distribution by diverting the optimization theory of multiple-input-single-output systems.
