In order to realize optimum irrigation control in soil cultivation, we focus on the change of the natural frequency of leaf. And we found so far that the natural frequency of leaf has diurnal change, and that when the water is sufficient, the natural frequency decreases at night and rises at daytime, but that under the water stress, the natural frequency drops at not night but daytime. Also, last time, we reported that a general purpose CCD camera was enough for the measurement instead of laser displacement sensor or high speed camera. In this report, we propose a method to find the natural frequency of leaf by dividing the frame image into squares and checking the change of the average pixel value of each rectangular area without using correlation tracking method. |
