Simple method for detecting GCI and GOI based on complex wavelet analysis with cosine series envelope

(in English) We propose to use an analytic signal made from a cosine series envelope which was specially designed for analyzing the signal phase. Combined with an efficient algorithm for instantaneous frequency using multimedia instruction sets of modern CPUs, we derived a reliable deviation measure from periodicity for fundamental frequency estimation. We also propose to use an FIR filter with a complex numbered impulse response for GCI (Glottal Closure Instance) and GOI (Glottal Opening Instance) detection from EGG (ElectroGlottoGraph) signals. We design the FIR filter based on wavelet analysis results which uses an analytic signal as the mother wavelet. The envelope of the wavelet is a cosine series which has highly attenuated sidelobe levels and steep decay. We also propose a simple method for detecting GCI and GOI from speech signals.
