Suppression of ILS LOC reflection surface affection using a wire screen

(in English) The accuracy of Instrument Landing System Localizer (ILS LOC) is affected by the unevenness of the reflection surface in front of the antenna. Suppression of the affection using shadowing screen is one of the measures. This paper describes the improvement of the shadowing characteristics by optimizing the array of wire screen using moment method simulation and experiment.
