The Satellite Automatic Identification System (SAT-AIS) service detecting signals of VHF Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) receivers from each ship. For separating AIS signals interference on orbit, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will launch the Space based AIS Experiment 3nd (SPAISE3), AIS antenna array and ground-based DBF, mounted on the Advanced Land Observing Satellite-4 (ALOS-4) in 2020. In this paper, I will show designing VHF compact antenna using the planar metamaterial waveguide for distributed array on the satellite system's problem of the electromagnetic interference. |
