Base stations for island satellite communication systems and disaster recovery satellite communication systems generally requires a large aperture antenna and high power transmitter to provide a large number of telecommunications services. For realizing high communication performance, redundancy is also effective for improvement of availability. This paper proposes a novel high available base station configuration that consists of distributed array antennas with redundant high power amplifier. |
