A Study on an Adaptive Bit-Loading Algorithm with Channel Estimation for 5G backhaul Systems

(in English) In recent years, the realization of the fifth generation mobile communication system has been actively investigated and expectation for the wireless backhaul is also increasing. In order to use adaptive modulation which is effective for improving the communication quality on the backhaul, frequency characteristics should be fed back from receiver side. In this study, we propose a method to estimate frequency characteristics of transmission path after the feedback delay time by using the correlation with the fluctuation of the transmission / reception path frequency characteristics. We also show that by using the estimated frequency characteristics for adaptive modulation, the error rate performance improves more than when using the feedbacked frequency characteristics as it is.
