For data transmission of the measurement sensor in a narrow and dangerous space such as automobile, factory and workplace, or control of a small robot working in the vicinity of human body, wireless communication/control is required at high speed and high reliability without disturbing the environment. Therefore, based on the 10 - 50 MHz ultra wideband communication technology utilizing the extremely weak radio frequency band, our group has proposed an adaptive multi-pulse position modulation method which makes the multi-level number of modulation variable according to the electromagnetic environment of communication. Moreover, instead of spreading the transmission power to the entire 10 to 50 MHz band, the transmission power has been concentrated only at frequencies with less electromagnetic interference depending on the communication environment. In addition to improving the anti-electromagnetic-interference performance, this method also alleviates the difficulty of realizing a broadband antenna in this frequency band. In this study, we designed two types of antennas resonating at multiple frequencies where the spectrum of the transmission signal waveform has a peak. The antenna characteristics were compared for the above-mentioned use. |
