Accuracy Evaluation of Target Localization Using Cooperative Multistatic MIMO Radar

(in English) In this paper, we evaluate the indoor target localization accuracy using cooperative Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) radar. We describe the target localization method, where the multiple MUSIC (MUltiple SIgnal Classification) spectrums corresponding to all receiving stations are multiplied for enhancing the estimation accuracy of the target location. The experimental results in the laboratory and wooden house show that the target
localization accuracy is improved by using multiple receiving stations when the number of the targets is 1~3.
