A Study on Waveform Design for Joint Radar and Communication Systems

(in English) In this report, we have proposed a novel waveform for joint radar and communication systems. In the proposed waveform, communication signals are multiplexed in LFM pulse, based on OFDM. Therefore, the proposed waveform can maintain Doppler-tolerance similarly to the LFM-pulse, and enable the communication transmission rate to be increased by adding the sub-carrier frequency for the communication signals. The proposed waveform has been validated by numerical simulations.
