In order to achieve efficient utilizations of network and computing resources, this paper proposes an architecture of pub/sub-based IoT service function chaining. In the proposed architecture, we show the IoT service function chaining by specifying appropriate topics that uses the pub/sub messaging. We build an application of human monitoring in a laboratory and validate the performance of the prototype implementation using Apache kafka. |
