Proposal of Cooperative Retransmission Control Scheme in Drones Network

(in English) We propose a cooperative retransmission control scheme that achieves high reliability and high trans-
mission efficiency when multiple drones perform relay transmission. In related work, mesh network using drones
has been studied. In such the drones relay transmission, the network configration can be flexible constructed
by formation flight on the sky. Moreover, since the relay distances are limited as compared with the case where
direct transmission is performed far away, the variation of the propagation environment is small. Therefore, robust
communication will be acheived even when information is transmitted far. However, since the bandwidth is occupied
every time relay is performed, relay transmission has issue that the throughput is reduced. The proposed scheme
performs high reliability and high transmission efficiency by performing cooperative retransmission control by sur-
rounding relay stations even if the propagation environment is bad when performing direct transmission. The effect
of the proposed scheme was confirmed by computer simulation, and the throughput was improved by maximum 1.5
times compared with the conventional direct communication.
