[Poster Presentation] A study on efficient Antenna selection based on Spatial Correlation for Adaptive Array Antenna

(in English) In general, the number of interference signals which can be suppressed by an adaptive array antenna is determined by the number of antennas. However, the number of antennas in the adaptive array antenna is equal to the number RF (radio frequency) chains and the larger number of antennas leads to higher cost. For this issue, an
antenna selection has a potential to reduce the cost while the performance of adaptive array antenna can be maintained. We proposed LT (Look-up Table) method while there is only one interference signal in a previous study.In the LT method, the antennas can be decided by the LT and direction of arrival information of the interference signal.In this paper we investigate the LT method when the number of interference signals is two. In this case, the size of LT is increased due to the power and direction information. For this issue, we propose new LT in which some information is compressed to reduce the LT size. The numerical evaluations will provide a validity of the proposed LT in the antenna selection based adaptive array antenna.
