Application Study of Power Control System with Compound Semiconductor devices for Future Commercial Satellites

(in English) In the commercial satellites, the orbit control systems are changed to the electoric propulsion from the chemical propulsion, to increase the ratio of mission payloads. The propellant can be much reduced by the electoric propulsion but a mass of the electric components increase. Compact and lightweight power control systems are demanded. In JAXA, power control system applied compound semiconductor power devices has been studied to realize for more compact and lightweight. In this paper, we describe tests of the experimental model.
