Note on Real-Time Wireless Data Transmission for Power Electronics Systems

(in English) In a power electronics circuit, voltage and current are measured by a sensor inside the circuit. Measurement with wired communication for voltage and current is popular now, but we have some issues in complicated wiring in sensing at multiple points. In addition to that, it is difficult to insulate sensors under high voltage environment. Therefore, considered using wireless sensor and Wi-Fi, a Wireless transmission standard. However, existing protocol of Wi-Fi communication causes new issues related to bandwidth and delay. It is difficult to measure the voltage and current in real time manner. To solve the issue, we discuss reduce overhead by RAW Socket, reduce overhead by netmap, improve transfer efficiency by saving band by compressing voltage and current data.
