Atempt of increase of holding force acting to object levitated by nearfield acoustic levitation

(in English) A near-field acoustic levitation phenomenon occurs to an object the base of which is parallel to a vibrating plane and holding force acts on the levitated one. The possibility of the increase of the holding force was examined with finite element analysis under the condition that the levitated object was put between two planes which vibrate vertically. Viscosity of air was considered in narrow space. The holding force at positions of the levitated object was calculated. Results of analysis providing phase differences between two vibrating planes showed that holding force increased at the phase difference of 180°. Moreover, the holding force increased by decreasing distance between the levitated object and vibrating plane.
