Polarity inverted cubic PMN-PT/ tetragonal PZT epitaxial film resonators for frequency switchable filters

(in English) In recent years, the number of bandpass filters in smartphone has been increasing because of international roaming system. Frequency switchable filters are promising as a solution for putting a lot of filters together. The resonator with single polar direction excites fundamental mode. On the other hand, the polarity inverted n-layered resonator can excite n th high order mode. Resonance mode can be switched by switching the polar direction of each layer. In this study, polarity inverted two-layered cubic PMN-PT/ tetragonal PZT epitaxial film resonators were fabricated by an RF magnetron sputtering. Fundamental mode resonance at 327 MHz and second mode resonance at 729 MHz were successfully switched by changing direction of DC field in this resonator.
