| (in English) | In the development of services and products, a qualitative survey is conducted to understand the consumers’ behavior and to obtain insight as a seed of service design. In this paper, authors reported ethnographic survey conducted to understand the people’s lives in Myanmar from the viewpoint of information behavior. This report shows how people accept mobile phones in Myanmar where economy is rapidly growing, and describes insights that can be used for future service development. Furthermore, authors analyze the method used in this survey from the viewpoint of industrial application of ethnography, and discuss an appropriate choice of research method from the purpose and the question of the survey. | |
