In recent years, research in communication application using a frequency range over 100 GHz is rapidly grown. To take these applications for public use, it is necessary to measure Radio-Frequency (RF) power precisely. A calorimeter method is commonly used for determining absolute RF power traceable to SI units. This paper reports on the development of the calorimeter for 200 GHz frequency band. A mathematical model for measurements is introduced and the absolute power measurement is demonstrated at 0.5 mW. |
