Double Aperture Field (DAF) method has been proposed as a method for estimating electric field strength of radio waves passing through two apertures for indoor to indoor propagation characteristics estimation. However, it is a calculation formula for two window apertures facing each other and does not cope with estimations under environments in which the aperture planes are orthogonal to each other. This report proposes the calculation formula of the DAF method when the window aperture planes are orthogonal to each other. 6.1GHz band experiments are conducted in an anechoic chamber in which shielding screens with apertures are orthogonally arranged, and the effectiveness of the calculation formula is shown. As a result of experimental verification, it is confirmed that the estimation accuracy of the proposed DAF method becomes 1.4 dB or less, and its usefulness is clarified. |
