Planar Sleeve Antenna Composed of Right/Left-Handed Transmission Line

(in English) A choke structure is necessary to reduce the leakage current of a sleeve antenna, however, the size of the antenna becomes large in low frequencies. A sleeve antenna composed of a coaxial composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH TL) has been proposed for miniaturization of the sleeve antenna. However, the proposed antenna is difficult to fabricate because the configuration of the proposed antenna is three-dimensional and complex structure. In this paper, a planar sleeve antenna with a choke structure composed of CRLH TL which can be fabricate on a dielectric substrate.
